We have a wonderful opportunity for a full time General Maintenance Person to work within our Property Services department. If you have general building and carpentry/joinery experience, together with relevant qualifications, then this is the role for you!
Your main duties will include carrying out maintenance work of a general building nature with particular emphasis on carpentry and joinery repairs, basic plumbing repairs, painting and decorating in support of the department’s operational activities. Your experience within the building industry will enable you to demonstrate and evidence knowledge of safe working practices. You will be a good team player and be able to work unsupervised on a variety of projects, so excellent communications skills, adaptability and good time management are essential.
This is a six month fixed term contract starting on 20 April 2015 and ending on 20 October 2015 and working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 4.00pm.
