Our Donkey Assisted Therapy Centre in Belfast currently has some exciting vacancies that we are looking to fill, with different job closing dates, as follows:-
This dual role allows you to care for our donkeys and assist with riding therapy for children with additional needs, but also provides accommodation on site with the warden duties attached. What a great opportunity! Living in a staff flat, you will be contactable outside the centre operating hours, with cover provided for agreed periods off.
Working 24 hours per week, the role is split:
- Groom – 8 hours per day on the 2nd and 4th weekend of each month and 16 hours per week worked 4 hours each day Tuesday – Friday.
- Warden – consisting of security duties from 4.30pm each day with cover provided for agreed periods off.
Closing date: 12.30pm on Friday 20 March 2015.
Centre Assistant / Groom – 21 Hours
Being able to put your people skills to good use, whilst also caring for our donkeys provides a fantastic opportunity at our centre. As well as groom duties, you will also assist with riding therapy for children with additional needs and assist in our outreach programmes for children and adults whilst also supporting the Centre Manager and Centre Instructors in the effective running of the centre.
Working 21 hours per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays (7 hours per day), this fixed term contract is to start as soon as possible until 30 June 2015.

Centre Assistant / Groom – 40 Hours
As well as the above part-time role, we are also looking for a full time Centre Assistant / Groom to work in a permanent contract and working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and also including the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Closing date: 12.30pm on Wednesday 18th March 2015.
