The Hayloft Restaurant has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Head Cook to work on an annualised hours, fixed term contract.
You will be passionate about delivering high quality, locally and ethically sourced seasonal food and outstanding customer service. You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, taking a hands-on role in leading a small team to deliver excellent results in a high-volume environment.
The duties will include; cooking, helping to manage and train staff, maintaining quality, ordering supplies and planning menus.
You will have management experience within a commercial catering environment and hold current and valid catering qualifications, as well as food hygiene and health and safety certificates.
Starting in February 2015, (or as soon as possible), and until 31st July 2016 and based on working 40 hours per week, to include weekend working.
