As Supporter Communications Coordinator, you will develop, manage and implement communication plans that deliver news and information demonstrating the relevance and urgency of our work, deepening relationships with our supporter and visitor target audiences. You will work in alignment with other key activity such as press and media, digital news, internal communications and fundraising, ensuring effective schedules and collaborative relationships are maintained.
Highly creative, and possessing strong organisational skills and project management experience, you will manage all aspects of the production of the supporter newsletter mailings which are sent three times yearly by post to the charity’s supporter mailing list, supporting a key income stream of the charity. This will include procurement, organising and working on content, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing feedback of all artwork elements, checking proofs and approvals, and delivering to strict deadlines.
Educated to degree level and/or possessing relevant experience of working within the marketing and communications sector, you will be able to demonstrate experience of planning and delivering proactive and integrated communication plans and working with a diverse number of departments and internal stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, including copywriting for different audiences, a high standard of English, and computer literacy are essential. Proof reading and direct marketing skills are desirable.
