The Donkey Welfare Team represents The Donkey Sanctuary as professionals in the field. Donkey Welfare Advisers respond to donkeys and mules in need, act to safeguard their health and welfare, work to grow and support a quality rehoming scheme, and provide high quality training and learning.
Each Donkey Welfare Adviser works primarily within their given area (varying between 5 and 10 counties) but also acts co-operatively with other team members.
We are looking to recruit a permanent Donkey Welfare Adviser on a permanent contract. When applying, candidates should identify which geographical area they could cover, but should ideally be willing to relocate to an area where management judge their skills best fit with the current needs of the team.
This is a full-time, permanent contract, working 40 hours per week on an annualised hours basis, with flexibility required to work during the evening, at weekends and on public holidays as necessary.
