The Donkey Sanctuary will be showing its unique donkey cartoon as part of Animated Exeter on Wednesday 20th February 2008 at 2pm.
The Poor Donkey cartoon was designed by the charity to help children in India understand the importance of caring for their donkeys.
Amanda Gordon spokeswoman for The Donkey Sanctuary says: "We are really excited that our cartoon is going to be shown during this special week - we hope that any children who get to see it really enjoy and learn from it.
"The screening also includes the disability awareness films by Aardman Animations so we are really thrilled to be featured the same afternoon as them."
Liz Harkman who has been organising the event continues: "Poor Donkey fits perfectly into our new screening Ani-Mission, which contains a special selection of films which were made to put a message across. We were delighted when The Donkey Sanctuary contacted us and to learn they are using animation to develop and educate children in India."
The Ani-mission screening takes place at Exeter Picturehouse. Tickets cost £5.00 for adults, children (under 15) £3.50. Concessions available.
