Posted on 6 February 2008.On Monday 21st January from 7.30 pm, over 25 youngsters from the 10th Exeter St James Scouts will be visiting The Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth, to help gain their special 'Equestrian' activity badge.

Amanda Gordon, public relations assistant, says: "We are delighted to help the scouts from Exeter St James achieve their equestrian badge and we hope they have a great time at the Sanctuary."
"It is always a special time when children get to enjoy such hands-on experience with our friendly donkeys."
Sophie Holden, a leader at 10th Exeter scouts, adds: "We are very grateful to The Donkey Sanctuary for organising such a wonderful and varied evening of activities. It is an ideal opportunity to teach the children about animals in a fun and safe environment - we're all really looking forward to the event."
