This Responsible Gambling Policy details how The Donkey Sanctuary identifies and signposts customers to guidance and support when their gambling has become a problem.

To ensure that we take all reasonable care to protect vulnerable persons, The Donkey Sanctuary complies with the Institute of Fundraising guidance set out in our policy called “Treating Donors Fairly”.

The purpose of our policy is to protect vulnerable persons who receive or come into contact with The Donkey Sanctuary’s services and those of its implementing partner organisations, which it funds.

Raffle
We operate three raffles a year in the Spring, Summer and at Christmas. You can find the terms and conditions for these raffles here.

Charity number update
Please note that as part of a project to simplify our organisational structure, our charity number changed on 1 January 2025. The details of our new charitable company are as follows; The Donkey Sanctuary, a charitable company limited by guarantee with registered company number 15150580 and registered charity number 1207593, with registered office at Slade House Farm, Sidmouth, EX10 0NU. Our operational, fundraising, and charitable work will continue as before; the only change is our legal status and registered charity number.
