My work focuses on animal welfare and managing projects to address the welfare challenges faced by donkeys in the Lamu archipelago. My goal is to improve the lives of working equids through sustainable, community-led initiatives and evidence-based strategies that encourage positive human behavior change. My core mission is to empower donkey-dependent communities by building the capacity of animal health personnel, community education, and engaging in policy-making. This approach leverages community expertise and evidence to create innovative solutions that benefit both the donkeys and the communities they serve.
