Do you have what it takes?
Do you love meeting new people and promoting the work of The Donkey Sanctuary as one of our valuable ambassadors?
Join our wonderful team of tour guides who make our visitors feel welcome, enhance their visit and provide an in-depth knowledge of the charity, introducing them to some of our resident characters, as well as giving them a behind the scenes view of one of Devon's most visited attractions.
Skills and personal experience
A knowledge of equines would be helpful, but not essential as we provide full training.
We need someone who enjoys speaking in public, is outgoing, likes meeting people and would feel comfortable leading a tour round the Sanctuary grounds.
Please bear in mind that there is a lot of walking involved in this role, often over uneven terrain.
Times and preferred duration of commitment
Flexible hours required, each tour normally lasts one hour, however, you will need additional time to check your tour prior to setting off.
The tours are updated and you are supplied with up to date information on a daily basis.
