Are you an experienced programmer who understands databases and database structures?
We are looking to recruit an experienced programmer to further develop and support our Open HR Human Resources system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in programming to learn this system and develop new automated workflows, forms reports and processes from this database.
Main duties will include developing the functionality of the current Open HR implementation to provide extra functions, and to design and develop new automated workflows to improve efficiency within the HR team and across the charity, and to work and liaise with users throughout the charity to define requirements and to implement specifications, ensuring that links between the systems function correctly and efficiently.
Experience of systems development and an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft applications are essential as is the ability to deliver solutions on time and within budget and to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the charity. Also desirable is an understanding of Internet Information Server and SQL Server.
This is a full-time, 6 month fixed term contract, starting as soon as possible.
