Every year through our 6 centres we deliver more than 46,000 donkey assisted therapy sessions to children and adults who have a range of additional needs and disabilities. This unique and effective form of therapy helps to harness the bond between donkeys and humans to bring about life-enhancing benefits for both.
The Centre Manager role will champion, support and manage the centre team to deliver high standards of donkey assisted riding therapy for children and adults with additional needs. Representing The Donkey Sanctuary as a professional in this field, you will be expected to deliver an effective therapy service to the centre users and alongside this, operate an outreach programme visiting hospices and local residential homes.
You will be a motivated, inspiring and a compassionate leader with proven management experience ideally within children’s services, who is used to dealing with diverse issues on a daily basis and will continue to nurture and build on the positive relationships with parents, schools, volunteers and the wider community, both in provision of therapy and fundraising.
