As the host to a resident population of over 4,000 rescued donkeys and mules, our charity currently operates 15 farms and sanctuaries spread across the UK, Ireland and Europe and we therefore enjoy unique opportunities and challenges to enlightened stewardship of the land in our care.
We have an incredible opportunity for a Wildlife and Conservation Co-Ordinator to lead the way in helping engage a wider audience with our work by developing and co-ordinating The Donkey Sanctuary’s wildlife and conservation strategy.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new supporters and donors by providing inspiring opportunities and high quality interactions for our supporters, visitors and volunteers from our wildlife and conservation programme; working in close liaison with our General Farms Manager to optimise conservation and the use of the land entrusted to us.
This full time, permanent annualised hours contract requires some flexibility and is based on working an average of 40 hours per week.
