We are looking to recruit a Procurement Analyst to assist the procurement business partners to assess their varying and complex business needs and contribute meaningfully to the development of procurement and category management strategies.
You will manage procurement projects, working closely with departments across the charity to define project scopes, goals and deliverables, create project timelines, monitor and report on project progress and evaluate the success of projects when complete.
You will undertake research and analysis of supply markets to inform procurement decision making and strategy. You will be responsible for running reports and coordination of quarterly supplier performance review meetings, taking minutes and recording outcomes. You will effectively maintain and strengthen existing supplier relationships, providing advice on the procurement and tender process. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within an analytical role.
Procurement training will be given, and candidates do not need to have previous procurement knowledge. The ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills is essential, as are excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a proven ability to successfully interact with people at all levels are essential, as are a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to manage time effectively to determine priorities and deliver on agreed timelines, and experience of developing management reports and presenting data clearly.
