We have an opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join the brigade at the Donkey Sanctuary’s fantastic new restaurant ‘The Kitchen’.
Our Head and Sous Chefs are highly experienced in creating mouth-watering menus, producing food fresh onsite from ingredients that are sourced from local producers who share our ethics and commitment to sustainability. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual who is interested in enjoying a fabulous work-life balance and is passionate about cooking and producing great food in fast paced environment.
Possessing a desire to work in a commercial kitchen, you will prepare food to the highest standard of quality and presentation, ensuring that wastage is kept to a minimum, and that strict food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained. Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills are essential. A Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is desirable.
This is a part-time, 12 month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible, working 25 hours per week. Extra hours (making a total working week of 37.5 hours) will be available to cover busy periods, staff absence, and school and half-term holidays. Flexibility will be required for weekend working.
