We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive maintenance person to join our dedicated team at The Donkey Assisted Therapy Centre, Manchester. Possessing practical maintenance experience and basic joinery, groundwork and plumbing skills, you will carry out all building, ground and equipment maintenance at the Centre, ensuring all work is conducted and completed to a high standard.
Assisting the Centre Manager in the safe running of the premises and operation, you will undertake regular fire alarm, health and safety and vehicle checks, ensure that PAT testing is completed, and provide health and safety induction training to all staff and volunteers. Good communication skills, the ability to multi-task while working with a number conflicting demands, and to demonstrate successful experience of budgetary control are essential.
This is a full-time, permanent contract starting as soon as possible, working 37.5 hours per week.
