We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to support the team at our exciting new restaurant, “The Kitchen”.
You will maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen and wash-up, washing up all pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and other equipment used in the kitchen, to a high standard, and in accordance with food hygiene regulations. You will assist the Head Chef and members of the kitchen brigade with the basic preparation of food as directed, the Front of House staff with the collection and sorting of dirty crockery and cutlery, and with the unloading and storage of stock.
Experience of working as part of a team, adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment and good organisational skills are desirable.
This is a variable hours, fixed term contract starting on 16 April 2018 until 30 September 2018.
