We are seeking to recruit a Data Compliance Adviser to support the Head of Data Compliance in establishing, developing and coordinating effective governance of information across the charity, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Qualified to a high level at a professional standard and possessing experience of working in a similar role, you will provide support in preparing for GDPR and assist with the day to day operations of the charity’s insurance portfolio and policy library. You will provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on data protection issues, including subject access requests, incidents, complaints, queries and risks etc., effecting alignment across the organisation and ensuring that the charity is legally compliant.
Demonstrable experience of managing and maintaining data compliance controls, collating information of a confidential nature across a wide group of internal stakeholders, and presenting this information clearly to support informed decision-making and planning is essential, as is the ability to produce detailed, high quality reports for senior level interpretation, together with excellent communication, organisational, planning and analytical skills.
