Able to demonstrate previous equine and animal husbandry experience, you will provide care and rehabilitation for the resident donkeys and their environment, and farm the land at Trow Farm, the largest of our farms at The Donkey Sanctuary.
Possessing excellent team-working and communication skills, you will support the Farm Manager and Relief Farm Manager in the efficient and safe running of the farm and effectively interact with colleagues, Quality Time Volunteers and work experience students. You will present a positive professional image of The Donkey Sanctuary at all times, providing a warm and knowledgeable welcome to visitors to the farm and at promotional shows.
Flexibility, a commitment to personal development, and a full driving licence are essential, as is experience of operating farm machinery, specifically tractor driving.
This is a full-time, permanent contract starting as soon as possible, working 37.5 hours per week.
