We are looking to recruit a Procurement Administrator to support the Category Management team with procurement projects and running mini supplier tenders.
As Procurement Administrator you will undertake an efficient and effective administrative service within the Procurement Department by supporting the operational activities of the Category Management Team.
You will act as the main point of contact for the team, dealing with enquiries on the e-procurement tool and responding to relevant email requests until ownership is assigned to the relevant Category Manager.
You will be responsible for running reports and coordination of quarterly supplier performance review meetings, taking minutes and recording outcomes. You will effectively maintain and strengthen existing supplier relationships and negotiate amendments to contractual terms, providing advice on the procurement and tender process.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a Procurement department and be able to demonstrate working in a busy administrative role. The ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as are excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible working Monday-Friday 8:30am -4:30pm.
