We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, friendly and professional individual to join our busy Communications team.
Able to demonstrate previous experience of working within a PR/Marketing role, and working closely with the PR Manager, you will help coordinate all press, broadcast and digital media relations for the charity, producing compelling, engaging and meaningful communication materials, helping to build strong relationships with supporters, external influencers and stake holders.
You will respond to press/media enquiries, identifying publicity opportunities by writing and issuing news releases, organising, co-ordinating and supervising press and media visits and assist with PR campaigns, including specific activity for marketing communications projects.
Reporting to the Head of Communications and the Director of Marketing, you will monitor publicity, communicating the impact of PR initiatives. Working with the Content Development team, you will assist in the co-ordination of film production, and contribute to the management of the photo library.
Excellent levels of communication, writing and information presentation skills and enthusiasm for new digital media; including social media are essential, as is the ability to multi-task, demonstrating excellent attention to detail while working with a number of conflicting demands in order to meet multiple deadlines.
