Our Legacy Department is looking to recruit a Legacy Administration Assistant to provide effective and efficient administrative support services to the Legacy Administration team.
Prior experience of working in an office based environment is essential. You will undertake a variety of administrative duties to include filing, letter writing, scanning and organising post, obtaining information from databases, photocopying and maintaining records. In addition, you will be responsible for a case load of pecuniary legacies and the Sanctuary’s future legacy files, so you will possess an aptitude to work and progress in the area of charity legacy administration. You will be in regular telephone contact with Sanctuary supporters, legal professionals and personal executors involved in the administration of estates, so you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
You will be a true team player, a self-motivated and flexible individual, able to work under pressure and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, while handling a number of conflicting demands. Competent IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word are essential; the ability to use Raiser’s Edge and a legacy case management system is desirable.
This is a full time, permanent role starting as soon as possible, working 35 hours per week.
