Amanda Gordon, spokeswoman for the charity, says: “We are delighted to help the Beavers from 1st Sidvale Beaver Group achieve their friendship badge and we hope they have a great time at the Sanctuary.
“It is always a special time when children get to enjoy such hands-on experience with our friendly donkeys.”
Jo Milliner, a leader at 1st Sidvale Beavers, adds: “We are very grateful to The Donkey Sanctuary for organising such a wonderful and varied evening of activities. It is an ideal opportunity to actively show the children how to help each other and care for animals in a fun and safe environment – we’re all really looking forward to the event.”
