Pat and Frank Walker came along to the Sanctuary today after their daughter said: "You must go and visit"!
Originally from Yorkshire, Pat and Frank moved to Hampshire a couple of years ago. In a village close to where they now live is a donkey called Big Ears. As keen walkers, they used to chop up an apple and always stop off to see this donkey.
One day a friend said that Big Ears was pregnant and not long after, sure enough, a foal was born - Little Ears was his name!
Frank said: "It's absolutely brilliant here. It's set up to make people feel part of the Sanctuary. It's a really great feel good factor".
While Pat and Frank were visiting, they adopted a donkey called Busby, who helps at our sister charity, the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys after their own daughter adopted Daniel P last year.
