The Donkey Sanctuary fantastic Summer Fair in Leeds is back this Saturday from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm with plenty of fun for all the family.
Billed as a “mini country show” the Fair offers plenty of fun and interaction with the donkeys and good old fashioned games for the children.
Highlights will include a fantastic display of donkey riding therapy by children who use the Centre, donkey rides for children, and a circus show.
Dogs can compete for the title of “best doggy dance move” in a fun dog show, whilst speedy pooches might want to take part in the terrier race.
Children’s games will include egg and spoon and three-legged races.
Centre Manager Cathryn Dixon said: “We can’t wait for our Summer Fair. It’s always so much fun! With all the stalls and the old fashioned games, the donkey displays and the dog show it’s going to be like a mini country fair. Everything is outside so there’s plenty of room for all the children to have a good time. We look forward to seeing you there!”
Delicious refreshments including home made cakes and a barbecue will be available.
Parking and entry is free at the centre on Swan Lane, off Blackhill Lane, Eccup, LS16 8AZ.
All funds raised go towards supporting The Donkey Sanctuary’s work in the UK and abroad.
