The Donkey Sanctuary is holding an Autumn Craft Fair on Saturday 13th October from 10am-4pm and new to this year’s event is a willow weaving workshop which will be taking place throughout the fair.
The indoor craft fair is a fundraising event and a great opportunity to purchase gifts, including handmade jewellery, cheeses, scarves and pashminas, skincare treats, wood turned items, art, homemade jams and chutneys. Refreshments will be available including tea, coffee and a BBQ.
Chris Phillips, from the Sanctuary’s events team, says: “Our Craft Fair is the perfect place to find a variety of unique handmade items and wonderful gifts. Visitors will have the opportunity to celebrate the handy work of talented local residents and businesses in our marquee, which is also wheelchair and pushchair accessible. We hope that visitors will find something they love, knowing that they bought it directly from the person who made it.”
There are a limited number of tables still available for traders, to book a pitch please call 01395 573156.
Whilst it is free to visit The Donkey Sanctuary all year round, entrance to the indoor craft fair will be £2.00 per adult, entry will be free to children under the age of 12.
