Enjoy a proper Sunday roast at the sanctuary’s stunning new family-friendly restaurant, The Kitchen, alongside one of Devon’s finest views over the rolling hills down to the sea.
Choose from Devon’s finest cuts of meat or a vegetarian/vegan special served from sharing boards, accompanied by bowls of succulent vegetables and oodles of scrumptious trimmings to help yourself to. If room after enjoying this lot, there will also be a delicious classic pudding of the day.

Sunday roasts will be available at The Kitchen from 12pm – 2.30pm, as well as tasty breakfasts from 9am – 11am and Devon cream teas from 11am – 5pm.
After relaxing in the restaurant, unwind by exploring our scenic farm trails home to hundreds of friendly donkeys just waiting to meet you. For added family fun, discover which of our donkeys are best buddies and see if you can spot them playing together, with our Best Friends Forever Trail. Trail sheets are available from the new Visitor Centre or Gift Shop for just £3, including a prize on completion.
There is also the exciting new indoor attractions to discover including Visitor Centre, Understanding Donkeys Zone and Dr Svendsen’s Hut as well as the Nature Centre and Maze. Plenty of opportunities to exercise after all the lovely food!
