The Donkey Sanctuary is one of the UK’s largest international animal welfare charities; currently supporting projects in over 35 countries worldwide.  We are working for a world where donkeys and mules live free from suffering, and their contribution to humanity is fully valued. We are achieving this by transforming the quality of life for donkeys, mules and people worldwide through greater understanding, collaboration and support, and by promoting lasting, mutually life-enhancing relationships.  

Within our new Fundraising Strategy, we have an ambition to significantly grow our annual income, reaching £50m per annum by 2022. This growth will come from a range of areas across the Fundraising Team, but one area where significant growth is anticipated is within Individual Giving. We have a strong foundation of historic Individual Giving growth and a portfolio of successful products and channels on which to build. We are now seeking a talented and experienced Senior Individual Giving Manager to deliver a step change in scale and income over the coming years. 

Possessing substantial experience of leading and managing a multi-million pound, diverse Individual Giving programme, you will successfully deliver on the expansion and growth of our direct marketing channels and product portfolio. You will lead the Individual Giving Team, ensuring team members are effectively supported in their performance and you will build a strong and enduring Individual Giving programme routed in strong internal and external relationships. Proven experience across multiple Individual Giving channels and products as well as depth of direct marketing theory and technique is essential.
