In December we launched a campaign to try and raise funds to pay for a new Donkey Hospital.
The response from our supporters has been fantastic, and we are also delighted to let you know that we have received a number of grants from organisations who have seen for themselves how vital it is that we move to a new facility.
The layout and design of the rooms are such that our expert veterinary department will be able to work with much greater efficiency, resulting in our teams being able to treat many more poorly donkeys.
We were delighted to receive a grant of £50,000 from The Alexander Mosley Charitable Trust towards the building of the hospital.
We have also received a grant of £15,000 from The Serth and Gates Charity which will go towards the clinical examination area of the hospital.
We would like to take the opportunity to express our gratitude
A £20,000 grant was also very kindly awarded to us from The Vera Wolstencroft Children and Animal Charitable Trust for a new operating table.
We would like to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to all those who have donated or pledged grant funding to this important appeal.
