So many of our supporters have asked if they can help fundraise for us but aren't able to make the adorable Woolleys because their skills lie in being able to crochet.
We were delighted when Tess Eaton contacted us following an urgent appeal for volunteer knitters, but as Tess was unable to knit, she decided to create a pattern to make an Amigurumi (the name of this style of crocheted toy). Tess has kindly donated the crochet pattern to The Donkey Sanctuary on behalf of her Grandma, Betty Kendall, who adores donkeys and all the work that we do.
We are now calling our supporters who can crochet to help us raise money for our worldwide work.
