Join in with a variety of wildlife and conservation projects at Slade Houe Farm, Sidmouth. Meet like-minded people, learn new skills, get some fresh air and help our local wildlife.
Help us to celebrate the Spring Equinox! The days are now longer than the nights and the plants and animals are waking from their slumber. We will be prepping flower beds and sowing wildflower seed at sites across Slade House Farm. The seed will consist of a mix of native grasses and forbes that will provide an important source of nectar and pollen to our wild bees, insects and butterflies, as well as providing a splash of colour for visitors to enjoy.
Wear sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing to suit the weather conditions.
Tools will be provided, however please bring your own gloves.
Hot drinks will be provided. Bring a packed lunch and a bottled drink or thermos for while we are working.
No experience necessary – just plenty of enthusiasm!
These are free events, however, booking is required.
