Join the conservation team on a variety of wildlife and habitat surveys at Slade House Farm, Sidmouth. Meet like-minded people, learn new skills, get some fresh air and help our local wildlife.
Now that the breeding bird season is in full flow, we will be mapping the activity of birds at and around Slade House Farm. The findings will contribute towards nature conservation work at The Donkey Sanctuary.
Please wear sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing to suit the weather conditions.
Hot drinks will be provided at the start and end of the survey. Bring a packed lunch and a bottled drink or thermos for during the day.
We welcome all levels of experience of wildlife surveys.
Please note that some surveys are weather dependent! If the conditions are unsuitable we will usually have an alternative task planned, however on rare occasions we may have to cancel.
These are free events, however, booking is required.
