Get together for a proper Sunday lunch at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon where the view will whet your appetite.
Enjoy a hearty Sunday roast at The Kitchen restaurant, all served alongside one of the finest views across the rolling Devon hills down to the sea.
Served Sundays 12-2pm until 31 March 2019, our unique take on this Sunday tradition sees family-style service replicated from your kitchen to ours.
On offer will be Devon’s finest cuts of meat or a vegetarian/vegan special served from sharing boards, accompanied with bowls of succulent vegetables and oodles of scrumptious trimmings to help yourself to. If room after enjoying this lot, there will also be a delicious dessert of the day for you to devour.
After enjoying a hearty lunch at the restaurant, take the opportunity to explore our scenic farm trails home to hundreds of friendly donkeys just waiting to meet you. And whatever the weather, we’ve got you covered with our exciting new indoor attractions, where you’ll discover just why donkeys are so special through fun, interactive displays in the new Exhibition Barn, Understanding Donkeys Zone and Dr Svendsen’s Hut. The fun doesn’t stop there either, with the maze, nature centre and play area keeping youngsters entertained too. Plenty of opportunities to exercise after all the lovely food!
Pre-booking for Sunday lunch is essential and there will be a limited amount of spaces each week, so early booking is recommended.
