Some people dread the winter, but I LOVE IT! This is because I get to have my breakfast and supper in my very own pink bucket. And it even has my name on it. What more could a mule want?
My two-legged friends give me lots of scrummy donkey feed seasoned with grated carrots and apples on top, made with warm water to keep me cosy, and it’s my favourite!
Hi fans! What a glorious summer I have had with my mule friends. We have spent long lazy summer days in the fields grazing on grass with the warm sunshine on our backs.
The younger mules have been bombing around the fields playing games most days. The youth of today just don’t know when to stop!
I on the other hand like a quiet siesta in the afternoon with my friend Dot. I can feel the winter drawing in as my fur coat has got a little thicker but that means that we will start to get extra thick beds to keep us warm in.
Hi fans, Rockstar Superstar here!
It's been a few weeks since I last checked in to tell you about my adventures here at Town Barton Farm. I've been very busy meeting lots of new friends as well as chilling out in the paddock enjoying the grass.
In the past few weeks we have had lots of new arrivals here... donkeys, mules AND even two new members of the great team that look after me and all my friends.
I want to say a big thank you to all my fans who attended Town Barton Farms Mule and Donkey Day, that’s what my grooms call it but we all really know it was Rocky’s Day! As it was such a special day for me to meet you all, I booked myself in at our donkey and mule salon. I treated myself to the full works as now I’m a celebrity I have to keep up my appearance.
Hey fans! This week I want to introduce you all to our QTVs, which I am told means quality time volunteers! Friday is our favourite day as we have 6 QTVs that give us lots of attention. They mostly spend time with the donkeys grooming and cuddling them which my donkey friends love but sometimes they take us mules for walks, we just love it.
