It's my turn to be groomed and as I stand enjoying the brushing, there's so many things going on down here at Harvey's Barn today.
Kelly, one of our grooms, is busy brushing all the boys. I can just see her in the middle of about 12 donkeys surrounded by a carpet of hair because at this time of year, we're letting go of our winter coats as summer has arrived!
I've heard that it's the Royal Cornwall Show this week, so there's some extra folks around today loading up the equipment for the stand that's stored in our barn to take along. Milton, Megan and Cocoa, my three new friends, have been keeping a close eye on them and inspecting in detail everything that gets put in the trailer.
One of the very nice vets came down to check some of my friends earlier today. I must mention my best friend Lady here because last week she wasn't feeling very well and was off her food. After a thorough examination by the vet, it looked like she may have had colic and I'm pleased to say she's feeling much better and is back out and about with me in the paddock.
Talking of which, another groom is in one of the paddocks digging up all the dock leaves to stop them taking over. He's got a good plan by starting one end of the paddock and working to the other. I'll go and take a look later to check he hasn't missed a bit!
