Cyprus

In 2007, we established a subsidiary organisation called Donkey Sanctuary (Cyprus) to enable us to take over from the Friends of the Cyprus Donkey.

Situated in Vouni in the foothills of the Troodos mountains, the sanctuary is currently home to over 120 donkeys and we will provide their future care.

We can also continue to offer sanctuary for life to any other donkeys in need of refuge in Cyprus and carry out outreach work to working donkeys and mules and their owners on the island who may need our help.
