Staff at The Donkey Sanctuary are delighted with lung scan results that confirm that a young donkey who was critically ill when he was rescued in June is making a good recovery from a severe respiratory condition that made it difficult for him to breathe.

Visitors are invited to meet Arnie and all his donkey friends at The Donkey Sanctuary’s Derbyshire Centre, situated in Flagg near Buxton, as part of a free open day on Sunday 5th August 2012 from 10am till 4pm.

Visitors can get ‘hands on’ with the donkeys, enjoy donkey walking and grooming sessions and meet the staff, including talks and demonstrations from the vet and farrier.
