1. Turn the oven on to 190°C or gas mark 5.
2. Grease a baking tray.
3. Mix the flour, bicarbonate of soda and ginger together in a large bowl.
4. Now add the sugar.
5. Put in the margarine and mix everything together with your fingers until the mixture feels like breadcrumbs.
6. Pour in the golden syrup and stir with a spoon.
7. Take a small piece of the mixture in your hands and roll into a flat shaped ball.
8. Put each biscuit onto the baking tray.
9. Leave a gap between each biscuit.
10. Bake for about 10-15 minutes.
11. Leave the biscuits on the baking tray until cold.
12. WHEN COLD, EAT AND ENJOY.
