Visiting the Centres
|
EST Centres are located at:
Each Centre's staff consists of a Principal in Charge who organises the visits, co-ordinates the schools and works closely with the qualified riding instructors and staff.
The Centres have voluntary helpers without whom we could not operate. A good working team of between 20 and 40 people help at each Centre on a regular basis supporting the children or leading the donkeys. All voluntary helpers have attended a donkey awareness course.
All rides are given under qualified supervision and vary greatly with the needs of the children. The aim is to provide pleasure and to maximise the children's abilities.
If you have a special needs child who you consider would enjoy visiting the Centre nearest you, then please phone the Principal to book a visit.
If you would like to know more about our work or visit one of our Centres to learn more about our work please contact the Principal. All Visits are by apointment only with the exception of Sidmouth Centre which is in the grounds of The Donkey Sanctuary and open daily, 9 a.m. to dusk.
