The Donkey Sanctuary working in Cyprus
In 2007, we established a subsidiary organisation called The Donkey Sanctuary Cyprus to enable us to take over Friends of the Cyprus Donkey, whose founders Mary and Patrick Skinner wished to retire.
Situated in Vouni in the foothills of the Troodos mountains, the sanctuary is currently home to over 120 donkeys and we will provide their future care.
We can also continue to offer a Sanctuary for life to any other donkeys in need of refuge in Cyprus and carry out outreach work to working donkeys and mules and their owners on the island who may need our help. |
