Our school visits are educational, unique, interesting, interactive and exciting. The visits are free of charge and attended by qualified staff.
The Sanctuary has a team of dedicated donkeys and trained staff that go out and around the Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset area to provide school educational visits. |
We offer ...
- A 30 minute interactive session which includes grooming and donkey walking
- Children (teachers/leaders) first hand experience of donkeys
We bring ...
- 4 donkeys, according to pupil numbers
- Leaflets and information packs for teachers
- Stickers for children
- Certificates for each class
A thank you ...
Children are welcome to bring bite size treats for the donkeys to eat at the end of the visit. Donkeys are quite partial to: |
Full and Half Day Programmes now offered to schools and youth groups; may include a tour of our hospital and/or donkey lorries, subject to availability on the day. May also include our Nature Trail/Centre |
