The Donkey Sanctuary funds and facilitates non-invasive research with the aim of improving donkey and mule health and welfare.

Research is carried out in collaboration with many experts in the UK and overseas. All research projects are encouraged to submit their findings to peer reviewed journals and conferences. Dissemination of findings to interested parties is a key part of our research programme.
