The Donkey Summer Fair is the biggest family event to take place this year at The Donkey Sanctuary located near Sidmouth – it starts at 10am on Sunday 12th August 2011 and admission is FREE.
The Donkey Sanctuary and The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust (EST), which provides donkey-riding therapy to children with special needs, will be hosting a wide range of activities and displays for the enjoyment of all the family.
A craft tent, trailer rides, Punch and Judy, a barbeque, bouncy castle, face painting, dog agility, a beer tent, and various fun inflatables are just some of the highlights.
Claire Shapcott Events Supervisor says: “Last year was a great success with literally thousands of visitors and we are certain it will be the same again this year! There’s simply something for everyone, it really is a super day out.
“Any funds raised on the day will be a great help towards our charity; we rely entirely on donations to carry out our work.”
