Barney, Bramble and Mopsy are real donkeys, living in Devon, UK at The Donkey Sanctuary charity headquarters. We have been helping donkeys all over the world for over 40 years, and these 3 are among thousands of unwanted, abandoned or neglected donkeys that we look after.

About the donkey sanctuary
The Donkey Sanctuary is an international animal welfare charity and aims to protect donkeys and mules and promote their welfare worldwide.
We support projects in 29 countries including the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Mexico and Spain.
We have 28 overseas mobile teams and 4 overseas clinics working to alleviate the suffering of sick or injured donkeys.
